Iron Works moves 5 welcome gas grill bonus features into standard status for 1998.

The Iron Works (Stockbridge, MI) is including 5 new standard features in its 1998 line of deluxe stainless steel gas grills that were extra cost or not available in years past. These include a front spice and bottle rack, twin side shelves, utensil hooks, all stainless steel grate sections and full factory assembly of all grills.

The stainless steel front spice and bottle rack runs the width of all Iron Works grills for 1998, which come in 24", 36", 48", 60", 72", 84" and 96" widths. This handy stainless steel guarded shelf takes a lot of "real estate" burden off the grill’s side shelves. All 1998 models include both left and right stainless steel side shelves, a generous 17 inches wide and 24 inches deep. Utensil hooks are now also standard features, and these also help leave shelf areas clear for food preparation.

The top cooking grate is all surgical quality stainless steel for 1998. These are stamped as shallow inverted troughs, a geometry that helps capture and retain heat while providing the traditional meat searing grill marks that all outdoor cooks have come to expect.

Also new for 1998, all Iron Works gas grills are now factory-shipped fully assembled.

"We’re reaching a prestige buyer with a deluxe class product, and we don’t think he wants to spend this kind of money and end up with just a kit of parts," says Iron Works President Paul Faaborg. "From the first moment an Iron Works grill arrives, he shouldn’t have to keep his mind on anything but the cooking.

The Iron Works makes some of the most expensive gas grills on the market, starting at just over $1,000 and reaching into the tens of thousands. They use welded stainless steel construction, offer more burners than any other brand, offer more cooking area than any other brand, and offer the biggest side shelves in the industry. Particulars on their grills are available from their www.topgrill.com web site.
