The Iron Works (Stockbridge, MI) has a new least expensive model in its line – the industry’s highest priced - of consumer stainless steel outdoor gas grills. The new OPM-24 is available for $1,350 (suggested US resale at participating resellers), but aggressive dealer pricing may bring its actual price to under $1,000.

The Iron Works OPM-24 grill features all surgical quality stainless steel construction, a single pedestal base mount (self-standing or bolt-down), a 24-inch wide by 23-inch deep stainless steel cooking grate, left and right 17"-wide side shelves, a 24"-wide spice and bottle rack and utensil hooks. It uses industrial grade valves and burners, and can be fitted for either LPG (liquid propane) or natural gas at the same price. Its three burners deliver a total of 45,000 BTU per hour. Like all Iron Works grills, it features Roto Convection air flow engineering for even cooking without the bother or mess of a rotisserie. And it is delivered fully assembled.

"Even at our lowest prices, we deliver a grill you can’t kill," says Iron Works President Paul Faaborg. "While the mass produced cast-pot grills may die after just a few years of service, we design ours to endure for decades. Where you need wire brushes for theirs, ours cleans up with a damp rag, because we think users would rather be cleaning their plates than cleaning their grills."

The Iron Works makes some of the most expensive gas grills on the market, starting at just over $1,000 and reaching into the tens of thousands.
