March, 1998 Iron Works introduces new stainless steel indoor/outdoor prep table. The Iron Works (Stockbridge, MI) is introducing a new stainless steel indoor and outdoor service and preparation table, equally at home grill-side on the patio or tableside in a restaurant, available now for $995 (all prices suggested US resale at participating dealers), shipped fully assembled. This all-in-one 24"x46" service center accommodates interchangeable inserts for carving, cutting, marinating or beverage cooling. It features a full-size storage drawer (on roller bearings, with a removable liner), a large shielded knife and steel rack, a built-in waste chute and receptacle, a two-location commercial cutting board, a clear display dome and a removable spice and liquor rack with utensil hooks. Theres even a built-in full size umbrella holder for chefs whod rather the meal be made in the shade. In traditional Iron Works fashion, the table is all surgical quality stainless steel welded construction. It features commercial casters, rustic genuine cedar trim highlights and 6 coats of exterior clear coat. "Products also serve that can deliver customers to our table," kids Iron Works President Paul Faaborg. "We see this both as a great way to address requests from our deluxe gas grill users and as a way to introduce whole new customer populations to the quality and thoughtful practicality we try to build into every Iron Works product." The Iron Works makes some of the most expensive gas grills on the market, starting at just over $1,000 and reaching into the tens of thousands. They use welded stainless steel construction, offer more burners than any other brand, offer more cooking area than any other brand, and offer the biggest side shelves in the industry. Particulars on their grills are available from their www.topgrill.com web site.
